The Management Team:
Billy Treacy – Managing Director
Billy Treacy is the Managing Director of BlueCube Technologies and brings a unique mix of youth, experience and the enthusiasm to build a service focused company to address the realistic needs of the Irish SME sector.
Following his graduation from DCU’s School of Computer Applications Billy first cut his teeth in Ocean Communications and Esat before moving into the SME sector. Strategically transferring to a small company providing solutions to businesses in the SME sector Billy honed his skills over the next 6 years to the point that he felt he could realise ambition to build a highly customer focused company.
Billy is a founding director of BlueCube Technologies, a company established to provide relevant, cost appropriate IT solutions to the SME sector.
Billy believes that providing IT Services to those without a dedicated IT team has to be a partnership in which each customer’s needs are addressed individually to provide IT solutions complementary to the goals of the client’s business.
Stephen Mulholland – Technical Director
Stephen has been in the IT Services industry for almost 17 years now and has worked with some of the top support companies in Ireland. Whilst working his way up through the ranks, Stephen gained a well earned reputation for being the person to rely on when difficult technical issues needed resolution.
Stephen’s career has concentrated in providing service to SME businesses in Ireland. He has an innate understanding of the needs of these organisations and a focused approach to service and problem resolution. He has designed, planned & implemented successful solutions for every type of scenario imaginable for his clients over the years.
Now with BlueCube Technologies he holds the position of Technical Director and is responsible for the service delivery to BlueCube’s customers.
Stephen has a firm belief supported by his impeccable record, that it is the IT Service Company’s responsibility to keep the customer working at all times by taking personal responsibility for all aspects of their IT systems.
Bob Sugrue – Financial Director
As a founding director of BlueCube Technologies, Bob brings to bear his extensive IT project management skills and business experiences, spanning two decades and two continents. This includes major IT projects in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Ireland, ISO quality systems, and successfully building and selling two national IT support companies.
Since returning to Ireland in the late 90’s Bob has had a number of notable successes as a project manager. These include Implementing and managing a Card Payments Processing Centre for British Airways, Project Managing the computerisation of all the data in the largest commercial case undertaken in the Irish state for the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, and managing on behalf of the department of Health and Children the development of software to manage their capital projects.
With both his national and international background Bob is charged with steering BlueCube through these challenging times to become a major player in the Irish IT support industry. Bob is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Maynooth.
